GIRL'S RAD BALLET UNIFORM
Primary Ballet:
Chloe lilac leotard
Georgette wrap lilac skirt - Length of skirt halfway between mid-thigh & knee
Soft satin pink ballet shoes with pink elastic - Short pink socks
Grade 1 & 2 Ballet:
Aimee sleeveless leotard in lavender with matching belt
Soft satin pink ballet shoes with pink elastic - Pink nylon tights (with seam)
Character skirt - hem should be 3 inches below knee - ribbons in school colours
Low Heel canvas character shoe - with pink elastic
Grade 3, 4 & 5 Ballet:
Aimee sleeveless leotard in lavender with matching belt
Soft satin pink ballet shoes with pink elastic - Pink nylon tights (with seam)
Character Skirt - hem should be 3 inches below knee - ribbons in school colours
High cuban heel canvas character shoe - with pink elastic
Grade 6, 7 & 8 Ballet:
Aimee sleeveless leotard in lavender with matching belt
Lavender chiffon practise/teaching skirt - Should finish mid calf length
(For grade 8: A short skirt may also be worn for barre work)
Soft satin pink ballet shoes with pink elastic (can be split soled) - Pink nylon tights (with seam)
Character Skirt - hem should be 3 inches below knee - ribbons in school colours
Free movement silk scarf
High cuban heel canvas character shoe - with pink elastic
Inter-foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Adv. 1 & 2 Ballet:
Adagio Alison black leotard & waistband - poly-cotton camisole leotard
Pink nylon tights for all grades (with seam)
For inter-foundation: Pink soft ballet shoes with ribbons (not split sole)
For intermediate and advanced: Pink soft block pointe shoes with ribbons
For all grades: Pink pointe shoes with ribbons (please get specialist fitting advice)
BOY'S RAD BALLET UNIFORM:
Primary Ballet:
Cotton navy shorts
Light blue T-Shirt - must be tight fitting
White canvas or leather ballet shoes - with white elastic
White short socks
Grade 1 & 2 Ballet:
Lycra navy shorts(male tights may be worn instead of shorts if preferred - see below)
Aaron poly-cotton lycra short-sleeved leotard
White canvas or leather ballet shoes - with white elastic
White short socks
Boys Oxford black canvas lace up character shoe
Grade 3 Ballet & Onwards:
Stirrup tights - navy
Aaron poly-cotton short-sleeved leotard (or sleeveless version if preferred)
White canvas or leather ballet shoes - white elastic
White short socks (worn over the tights)
Boys Oxford black canvas lace up character shoe (not required for vocational grades)
MODERN, TAP & STREET JAZZ UNIFORM:
Girls:
Kingfisher crush velvet leotard (at inter level & beyond, students can wear their own choice of unitard if wanted) & Kingfisher stirrup leggings
Hair in a bun secured with the kingfisher crush velvet hair scrunchie (short hair should be worn with the kingfisher headband)
Black jazz pants may be worn with the turquoise leotard for Street Jazz instead of the leggings if preferred
Black ankle socks
Knee-pads are useful
Foot-ware:
For Modern: Bare feet (although split sole jazz shoes/foot-undies can be worn for turns etc)
For Tap - Leather low heel oxford tap shoes with fitted teletone toe and heel taps
For Street Jazz: Black split sole jazz shoes (jazz trainers may be worn in class but not for exams)
Boys:
Black tight fitted t-shirt or vest top
Black jazz trousers, leggings or tight fitting shorts
For class you may wear black joggers over the top if wanted, but the regulation wear must be worn for exams
Knee pads
ADULT CLASSES, CONTEMPORARY, MUSICAL THEATRE & BODY CONDITIONING:
Own choice of clothing suitable for exercise
PRE-SCHOOL DANCE:
Can either wear the primary ballet uniform or just some suitable clothes for exercise (leggings, shorts, t-shirt etc)
HOODIES, T-SHIRTS etc can be ordered via the school with the school logo embroidered on. These can be worn to and from class as warm up wear, and for trips, workshops, festivals, shows etc.
(All uniform can be ordered through the school. Girls - hair in a bun for all dance classes please)
