Student Programme
Intensive Vocational Training:
For many students, dance classes are purely for fun as a recreational hobby. However, for some, dance is more than just a social activity, and they hope for it to become part of their future. For those who wish to train at a more intensive, professional level, the student programme is on offer. Students pay a set fee which allows them to attend unlimited classes, but are required to undertake a number of compulsory classes per week. The classes chosen within the programme train the students to become all-round performers and skilled in many disciplines. Students on the programme receive regular feedback and supervision and are provided with an annual feedback report and review to help them set goals for the following year. Students on the programme take part in a festival group class within the set fee and are given priority when festival choreography slots become available. Full attendance is compulsory within this programme.
We believe our Intensive Training Programme offers a fairly unique package within the South West, and to date our students have achieved some incredible results. In only 1 year of joining together as a group, they were selected to compete at the 2011 National All England Dance Finals in London, and have also been regularly placed individually at local and regional competitions. Students taught by our Tutors, have gone on to gain full time training places at top Vocational Colleges including Bird School of Performing Arts, Performers College, Urdang Academy, Italia Conti, London Studio Centre, Masters College, Laine Theatre Arts, Bodyworks and the Royal Ballet Associate Schemes. Others have gone on to study performing arts at university or have embarked on the teacher training process.
